A Leader’s Heart is 365-Day Devotional Journal. Yes, you heard me right. It’s a gift book + a journal. The purpose of this book is to develop a strong, and solidly dependable leader, be it spiritually or physically. The owner of this book is supposed to read this book 365 days- which means everyday, and jotted down their thoughts on each day. It’s some sort of ‘questionnaire journal’ where there’s pre-printed motivational question that prompt you to do some soul searching.
There are loads of scriptures in it. Reminding you that even when you’re a leader, you should not forget that there’s a holier leader up above, which is Him.
One of my favourite scripture in the book is this:
9“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Luke 11:9-10
And then… below of the scripture… it explains how you could apply it to your business and also leadership, with a questionnaire of the day, which is; What do you do when you face with a difficult decision?
This is really a good book… well, at least to those leaders who would set some time aside to be closer to God through writing a journal and reflecting about themselves.
Do I recommend this book? Yes… I do, recommend this book. Good for businessman and anyone who would like to bring out a leader in them. I rate this 3 stars out of 5. I thought they could make the cover more interesting.
