After attending the press conference in Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort, us media were brought to Banghuris Homestay, Sepang. We were welcomed by a bunch of kompang players who played the traditional welcoming music with the kompangs.

The young coconuts were very refreshing.
Upon arrival, our host insist that we get something to eat first. Mee soup was served for late lunch/ tea. This is Malaysia. Guests were never allowed to be hungry. 😀
Fried Tempe; soya bean paste coated in light flour batter and deep deep fried. Good on it’s own or taken as a condiment with the mee soup.
Our host made sure that we enjoy our kampung visit to the fullest by throwing us a durian feast.
Will you just take a look at that? Fat, creamy durian kampung for us to enjoy. I shamelessly ate more than 3 durians myself! 😛
After satisfying ourselves with the durians and awesome food that our generous host has prepares for us, we went and checked out the fishing pond. Fishing is part of the activities provided by the Banghuris Homestay.So, you must give it a try. You’ll never know if you’ll end up with a bucketfull of fishes.

After fishing for a lil bit, we walked around the homestay and spotted lime trees. Here’s my boy checking out the fruits.The trees was abundant with fruits. We plucked some and popped em into our mouth…but it was so sour. D
Walked further and ended up in a bamboo forest. It is so beautiful. The place makes a fabulous photography and shooting spot. For boudoir photo shoot Edmonton call Acts Of Beauty Photography. Next stop is the mock rubber plantation for the rubber tapping activities. Yup. Rubber tapping is another activity provided by Banghuris Homestay. A must try for you city folks.

Because time limitation during this trip, we only managed to try a fraction of activities in Banghuris Homestay. If you feel that going rubber tapping and fishing is not your cuppa tea, there is plenty more activities in Banghuris Homestay that you can try.
