Bentong, a small town in Pahang is where my maternal grandmother used to live when she was still alive. Although my late grandmother was a local who lived all her life in Bentong, I never did had the opportunity to explore Bentong much. I used to visit and somehow my impression on Bentong is that it is just a small and quiet town.
Little did I know that there is much more to Bentong than just the Pasar Pagi and the famous Bentong Ginger.
Recently, during the Mother’s Day weekend, my family and I had the opportunity to visit Bentong alongside with other blogger friends. I will be writing about the places that we visited in depth, but for now, I’ll just warm up a little and here’s briefly sharing our little 2D1N getaway trip to Bentong, Pahang. The places that we visited: Bilut Extreme Park, Bee Farm/Bee Museum and Valley Agro Park .
Bentong is about two hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. Driving to Bentong is pretty much straight forward with Waze. We started our journey at about 8am and arrived at our first location, Bilut Extreme Park at about 10am.
Bilut Extreme Park is located at Felda Lurah Bilut, the 1st Felda in Malaysia. The Bilut Extreme Park is approximately 18 km away from Bentong Town and 16 km away from Raub Town and is actually located in a plantation area which is surrounded by palm oil trees.
There are plenty of things you can do in Bilut Extreme Park, and if you are an extreme sports lover, you will definitely love this place.

Our second location of the day after the Bilut Extreme Park is the Bee Farm/Bee Museum. This is another must visit place while you are in Bentong.
The Bee Farm is nestled in the heart of Valley Agro Park a sanctuary for bees. One thing about the bees here is that they are stingless. You may learn more about the place HERE.
After a long day, my family and I checked in to Valley Agro Park for a night stay so that we could explore more. Valley Agro Park is basically an agro park that consists of; farm, fish pond, restaurant and chalet. It is a very laid back place where you can just forget about the hustle and the bustle of the city. Read more about it HERE.
