Bible is rather contradicting. Sometimes, it contradict one verse and another verse, and young children would definitely need help to understand the biblical text.
I wouldn’t exactly say “Big Red” Holy Bible – Contemporary 3-D Art is children friendly, because as far as I’m concern, it’s targeted to an older group of children. The text in this bible is slightly simpler than the full adult bible, NKJV.
While I like this bible because it’s easier to understand than other bibles that I’ve read before, I would not recommend this to children age 8 and below, as they would find it hard to understand the text in this bible.
The bible is small in size, and little children would have to squint their eyes to be able to read this bible.
Personally, I do not like the 3-D graphic in this bible. I prefer the traditional ones better than the new 3-D graphic. It feels so weird to look at the imaginary picture of Noah’s Ark, Jesus, Jonah and whatnot in 3-D.
This bible is not something I would recommend for little children, but I’d recommend this for kids around 9 years old and above.
And because of it’s small size, I’d definitely recommend this bible for travel and also for Sunday classes. I rate this bible 4 out of 5.
