I often see people who have bought DVDs, wanted to keep a softcopy of the movies from the DVD in their PC, saved as AVI files or mpeg4 files.
Some people however, they wanted to rip the DVD into avi files and upload them to the Internet to share with other people.
I’ve been used a lot of DVD ripping software while I was still a Windows XP user last time. One of the DVD ripping software is ImTOO DVD Ripper. It is quite a good software for ripping DVD, as you have choose to rip the DVD to several types of formats.
From its website, it stated that it can be ripped to these formats:
Video = AVI, MPEG, WMV, MP4, H.264/AVC, RM, MOV, XviD, 3GP, FLV, VOB, ASF, and DV
Audio = MP3, WMA, WAV, RA, M4A, AAC, AC3, and OGG
Compare to some others DVD rippers, this ones consider able to rip off the DVD with pretty fast speed.
It is not only available for Windows only, there is also a version of ImTOO DVD Ripper for Mac.
Myself have not tried the Mac version before. But hopefully someone can share their experience of using its Mac version here.
