Spending the school holidays with your family in Genting but not quite sure what to do? Yes. We know that it can be quite overwhelming as the place is really huge with plenty of attractions to explore, so here’s some suggestions on where you can spend some holiday fun with your family:
1.Skytropolis Funland Indoor Themepark.

If you’re into themepark fun, Skytropolis Funland Indoor themepark is a must go. What’s interesting about this themepark is that it doesn’t charge you entrance fees. Similar to those neighborhood carnivals, Skytropolis offers pay per ride or ride everything pass. Perfect for families, I must say.

The 400,000 square feet indoor theme park also includes Asia’s first The VOID hyper reality centre, BigTop Video Games Park and children friendly rides.

Some of the rides includes Sky Tower, Spin Crazy, Power Surge, Disco!, Bummer, Boo Boo Bumper, Tea Cups and Balloon Race but not to worry, as the rides in the theme park are categorised into 3 different tiers of adrenaline rush (Child, Family and Thrill) to suit the different individuals. Pay-per-ride ticket costs RM10 on weekdays and RM15 on weekends but it’s a better deal to get the Skytropolis Funland Preview Pass at RM60 for unlimited rides.
2. The VOID

Love gaming, eSports or VR games? Then you’ll love The VOID. Located just near Skytropolis, The VOID combines state-of-the art VR technology, physical stages and multi-sensory effects, including touch and smell, with Hollywood characters and storylines. The VOID let participants experience fully-immersive worlds that, until now, have only lived in the imagination.Compared with traditional location-based VR, The VOID hyper-reality experience brings a completely new immersive experience. It uses custom VR technology along with physical stages to create immersive experiences that inspire exploration and engagement.

The VOID titles so far includes Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, Wreck-It Ralph: Ralph Breaks VR, Ghostbusters: Dimension, Nicodemus: Demon of Evanishment, and Avengers: Damage Control.

3. Jurassic Research Centre

Your kids are fascinated with all things Dino? Then, get them moving to the Jurassic Research Center.

Jurassic Research Centre is a fun and interactive place where you can get up close and personal with dinosaurs. Re-creations of scenes during the Jurassic era can be spotted here alongside with fossil replicas and other interesting exhibits.

4. Ripley’s Odditorium

Ripley’s Believe It or Not Odditorium is located inside Adventureland together with 4D Trick Eye Museum, Jurassic Research Center and Zombie Outbreak.

The Odditorium exhibits all sorts of weird items alongside with interesting and engaging of interactive sections. It’s a place that will get your brain spinning. Apart from that, you will also be able to see strange artworks and trick-arts in the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Odditorium.

5. 4D Art Museum

4D Trick Art Museum offers plenty of interesting backdrops for your photo-taking pleasure.

Painted by South Korean artists, every paintings are unique in the sense where you can play a part and be one with the paintings and art. Perfect for a day of photo-taking fun with your family.

6. Zombie Outbreak

Like thrilling and paranormal stuff? Enter the world where zombies are let loose at Zombies Outbreak.

Zombie Outbreak is not for the faint hearted. If you have any heart issues or is easily traumatized, this place is not for you. It’s really a scary place as once you enter, the zombies will come and scare you. Bring your little children in at your own discretion.

7. Train to Busan Horror House

Based on the blockbuster 2016 South Korean zombie apocalypse movie Train To Busan, Resorts World Genting unleashes a railway line of horror for two months that will offer a unique blend of horrific thrills and scary fun to fans of the movie and fans of horror in general.

The Horror House will only be open from Friday to Sunday between 1 November to 1 December 2019, and daily from 2 December 2019 to 1 January 2020

8. Eagle Landing Zipline

The zip line which is the longest in a shopping mall in Malaysia, offers a one-of-a-kind view of the indoor theme park for adrenaline junkies who will whizz through, high above everyone. Perfect for thrill seekers and Adrenaline junkies.
The tickets are available at RM31 for one rider, RM25 for two riders and RM19 for 4 riders with a certain weight and height limit applies for participants.
