This year throughout the fasting month, Hilton Kuala Lumpur will be highlighting a widespread of all-time favourite Malaysian cuisine. With over 300 dishes served, diners are definitely spoilt for choices. Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s Vasco’s the all-day dining will portray a unique theme that showcases the very best of Malaysia’s royal feast this Ramadan.
Featuring “Santapan Di Raja” themed buffet, the feast fit for a king showcases regal favourites of the royal families of Perak, Melaka, Johor and more.
There are too many dishes to mention in the buffet, but here’s highlighting what might really be worth your calories and what came highly recommended by the chefs themselves:
Fresh ulams and assorted kerabu are available as appetizers. These are great to be paired with assorted traditional sambals that are available at the buffet.
Roasted lamb and chicken are available at the carvery section.
Soup counter serves all sorts of delicious soup and broth. Oxtail soup and the Sup Gearbox is among the must try in the Ramadan feast.
If you crave for something comforting and humble, head over to the ala minute counter. The Prawn Char Koay Teow here is to die for.
Sup Berempah Laksamana Melaka, Masak Lemak Tunjang Daging Bakar&Perut, Pais Ikan Patin Tempoyak Istana Abu Bakar, Daging Masak Kurutup Dengan Kerisik Istana Balai Besar and Ikan Mayong Asam Pedas Dengan Bendi Istana Melaka are among the royal cuisine highlights that you would want to try at the buffet. They’re not something you commonly find in any other Ramadan buffet.
Malay kuih is aplenty. Among the must try royal kuih is the ‘Puding Raja’, that originates from the Pahang Royal Kitchen.
Local fruits aplenty to cleanse your palate with.

For those who enjoy cultural performance, you might want to note that there will be a Silat performance every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday as diners enjoy their royal feast. Patrons will also walk away with a one of a kind door gift, a miniature Tengkolok made from Songket. Traditional Malay music will be performed from Monday – Saturday as well.
