Here’s sharing with you the dishes that I managed to try during my recent lunch affair at Baan109; Yam Seafood, Nam Tok Kai Yang, Jim Jum (hotpot), Goong Cher Nam Pla, En Kai Tod, Kai Del Deow, Nam Kai and some Mee MAMA.

A specialty at BAAN 109; Jim Jum. Similar to the Chinese’s steamboat, Jim Jum is basically a dip and dunk Thai style hotpot dish where the soup base is boiled before other ingredients like meat, vegetables and seafood are added together.

Baan109 serves the Muslim friendly version of Jim Jum comes with a choice of chicken or chicken and seafood with a basket of mixed vegetables. Highly recommended if you want something really warming on the tummy. This one is pretty much guilt-free as it contains no MSG, so no worries and slurp away.

Yam Seafood. Spicy appetizer seafood salad. Taste slightly spicy but it’s highly appetizing.

Nam Tok Kai Yang highly flavourful chicken dish. If you like strong tasting food, you’ll like this one.

Goong Cher Nam Pla. This is actually raw prawn dish served with a side of spicy Thai sauce. Not for the faint hearted but those who enjoy raw dishes such as sashimi will definitely love this.
