Satisfy your cravings on-demand with GrabFood, the much-anticipated food delivery service that will soon connect consumers to their mouthwatering favourites in Kuala Lumpur.

Grab, Malaysia and Southeast Asia’s leading on demand transportation and fintech platform, will officially launch GrabFood on 28 May. Currently available in Mont Kiara, Sri Hartamas, Bukit Damansara and Bangsar, GrabFood will also be serving five additional areas around the major city centre, including Kampung Baru, Chow Kit, KL City Centre, Titiwangsa and Setiawangsa, with more areas to follow in the coming weeks.

With over 300 merchants such as KGB (Bangsar), Makirito, La Juiceria Superfood Cafe, Humble Chef and Inside Scoop, Devi’s Corner, and more to come, they will be serving up local and Asian delights, halal and non-halal cuisine and modern and traditional desserts.

GrabFood lets consumers enjoy their favourite meals and snacks delivered right to their doorstep with just a few taps on their mobile phones. Consumers can pay seamlessly for their food via GrabPay, Grab’s cashless payment method and earn rewards with every order.

GrabFood brings Grab closer to its vision of an empowered future of seamless mobility, on-demand food delivery, logistics (see here), cashless payments, and financial services for Southeast Asia consumers. Consumers will benefit from better convenience of food delivery; delivery partners will get additional income opportunities and merchant partners will see an increase in business revenue and customer reach.

“GrabFood is the next major step in moving Grab to becoming Malaysia’s everyday app of choice by fulfilling consumers’ daily essential needs. Every day, millions of people in Southeast Asia rely on both ride-hailing services, as well as food delivery services to save time from travelling around. With our localised technology, we will make transport and food delivery even more efficient in Malaysia, while delivering the most seamless and rewarding experience for consumers through our unified GrabPay payments platform and GrabRewards loyalty programme. The expansion of GrabFood in Malaysia will bring the best of Malaysia’s kitchens to more consumers, and provide more income opportunities for local merchants and delivery-partners, said Sean Goh, Country Head of Grab Malaysia.
