Fans of Thai boat noodles, rejoice. You can now enjoy them at 6,000feet above sea levels at SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting.

Boat noodles originates from the floating market of Ayuthaya in Thailand. On the rivers, locals will sell goods from their boats, including boat noodles. Noodles are usually served in large bowls, but it is inconvenient to do so on the boat, hence, smaller servings. Boat Noodle maintained the traditional way of serving boat noodles; in small bite sized portion, so don’t go around asking why the portion is really small. This is how it is supposed to be.

I visited the outlet with my family and our foodie friends, and these are what we ordered. Yes. The whole table was full with food.

image

What we got ourselves: Beef Pathumthani Rice Noodles, Beef Ayutthaya Rice Noodles, Beef Prosperity Yum, Chicken Pathumthani Rice Noodles, Chicken Ayuthaya Rice Noodles, Chicken Prosperity Yum, Fried  Wanton Skin and Fried Chicken Skin. For drinks, we had Cha Yen, Kaffe Yen, Cha Keow Yen and
Cha Manao Yen.

Chicken Prosperity Yum This is actually the new food innovation from Boat Noodle. Instead of serving the noodle with yhe usual herbal-soy like broth, this version was served with creamy Tomyam soup instead. Abit spicy but I like it. I actually polished most of them off from the table.

Chicken Phathumthani Rice Noodles is a must order in Boat Noodle.

Fried Wanton Skin. We got ourselves some sides to go with our noodle. This crispy fried wantan goes very well with the Chicken Prosperity Yum.

Fried Chicken Skin made a lovely snack. It was really flavourful

Sangkaya. A meal at Boat Noodle is never complete without the steamed Sangkaya Bread.

A closer look at the Sangkaya Bread. My son loves this alot. Whenever we dine at Boat Noodle, we’ll always include this as our dessert. ***Warning: Not for those who are suffering from diabetes and eggs intolerence. Also not recommended to young children who are prone to hyperactivity and sugar rush.
