I am a big fan of Sushi and Sashimi and so when I discovered that Sushi Zanmai has opened it’s door in SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting during my most recent visit there, I knew I had to go and check it out.
Some of the menu highlights atSushi Zanmai
Their menu offers wide arrays of Sukiyaki, Ramen and Donburis apart from the typical Sushi and Sashimi and here’s sharing with you what we personally tried.

Monaka. Monaka are actually a type of traditional Japanese dessert that consist of an outer crispy wafer with a sweet filling inside such as red bean paste, mochi, ice cream or chestnut. Ours has vanilla ice cream sandwiched in between of two wafer.
Pro foodie tips: Don’t be surprised if a staff came to you and happily tells you to continue to enjoy your your noodles if you accidentally slurp them up a tad too loudly. Some people might find this habit unappealing, but it is all right if you accidentally slurp the ramen a bit too loudly at Sushi Zanmai. That’s how the Japanese actually eat their noodles and it is a food language for “I’m really enjoying this and please compliment the chef”.
The service at Sushi Zanmai is as great as the food. Highly recommended to all Japanese food lovers.
