Looking for some proper sit down dining that is somewhat homey but classy this Ramadan? Well, you might want to give In Colonial Restaurant a try.
In Colonial Restaurant. Located at the ground floor, in The Intermark, Ampang. The place is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and is easily accessible via public transport.
One could easily mistake the restaurant for serving Western food, but don’t let the appearance fool you. This is actually a restaurant specialized in serving Chinese food.
Managed to sample some of the offerings here in In Colonial restaurant the other day on my wedding anniversary, and here’s sharing what my wife and I had:
A platter of appetizer consists of: Swiss Spring Rolls, Shrimp Ravioli, Mango Prawn Rolls, Noodlefish with Salt and Chilli and last but not least, Beef and Chicken Skewers.
Here’s some of the chef recommended dishes that we manage to try that day: In Colonial Black Pepper Rib Eye Cubes, Steamed Sea Garoupa in Lemon Juice, Admiral Butter Tiger Prawns, Padprik Veggies, Claypot Oysters and Seafood, and last but not least, Golden Brown Minced Garlic Scallops.

We had these to wash our food with. Some fancy fruit juices.
We ended our meal with this, herbal jelly with honey.
Overall, the meal satiated our appetite and for the coming Ramadan 2015, In Colonial Restaurant is offering sets similar to what we had for RM80 per pax. Quite a good deal for such satisfying meal.
