Solar+Wind = Solar Wind Hybrid Power Plant
Another way to generate power, is combining the wind and solar to make it hybrid.
As our country do have unlimited source of winds and sunlight, this hybrid power generators are actually something very practical.
The picture above are taken by myself when I visited Melaka 2 years ago.
Although this tiny power generators are only built to charge the power banks of the lamp post, but if this kind of power generators are built in huge size, it can actually able to generate abundance of power output.
Example, at Pulau Perhentian Kecil, Terengganu, have such hybrid power plant. But it is just a small power plant that meant to supply power to the island itself.
I am wondering, why TNB do not build more of these hybrid power plant and building it in large scale in order to reduce the fossil fuel they have spent to much money to buy from Petronas. If they build up more of these hybrid power plants on the sea, they can actually able to sell the electric out of nothing. Plus it can help to reduce the carbon emission to reduce the greenhouse effect.
