I had the opportunity to watch Power Rangers Live in Genting 2016 with my wife and son just right before the Malaysian school holiday end. And it was quite an experience, in my opinion, considering that the last time I watched Power Rangers was on TV and I was just about my son’s age.
I am now a father and instead of being glued to the TV, I watched Power Rangers live, on stage in Genting Highlands as a man, a father and a husband. Time really flies. It felt as if was only yesterday that I just went “Go, go Power Rangers” in front of the TV, playing make believe that I am one of the rangers.
Power Rangers Live in Genting 2016 is based on the two Power Rangers television series, the popular Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and Dino Charge.
I grew up with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers instead of Dino Charge, so it took me awhile to adjust to the characters featured in Power Rangers Live in Genting 2016.

The Power Rangers Live in Genting 2016 stage performance focuses on the battles between the Power Rangers and Sledge’s army for the former’s magical Energems that hold invincible powers.
The Power Rangers, the five warriors chosen by the Energems to protect Earth and to prevent it from falling into evil hands, find themselves repeatedly engaged in battle with Fury, Poisandra and their sidekicks.

All the Power Rangers on stage. The show was fantastic. My only disappointment is that the time for the show is too short and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers only made an appearance at the end of the show. I didn’t get enough of them. That said, overall this is a good show that’s worth your 1 hour time.
Apart from giving a breathtaking and exhilarating performance, Power Rangers fans would also be pleased to discover that they could not only take pictures with the Power Rangers as momento for just RM38, but the costumed heroes will be also be making surprise appearances at Time Square Stage, Power Rangers Activation Booth at Universal Walk, Genting Grand Lobby and at the Genting International Showroom areas.
