Those who grow up watching the sitcom “Baba Nyonya”, will know who he is.
Chee Hood Siong(Baba) and Kenny(Nyonya), they are both veteran in the entertainment industry in Malaysia.
And of course, “Baba Nyonya” is the sitcom that we will always remember when mentioned about their name.
Chee and Kenny are both retired and doing their own business in Melaka.
Due to a young director, NameWee beg both of them to play the role of “Baba” and “Nyonya” in the movie “Nasi Lemak 2.0“, they both come out from retirement to help on this movie which carries the harmony messages, and help to promote unity of all race in this country.
In other word to say, “Nasi Lemak 2.0” is Chee’s final appearance on the screen in his life.
I am glad that he is part of the meaningful “Nasi Lemak 2.0” movie.
Anyway, condolence to Chee’s family. Losing him, is a big lost of Malaysia entertainment industry.
At here, I have something else to say to some NameWee haters.
Actually, I found this news about Chee passed away from NameWee’s facebook updates.
When I read through the comments of this update, I found something very unpleasant.
I don’t care how much you hate NameWee or how much you hate Chinese.
But posting this kind of hatred remarks on an obituary!?
Dude! You got problem or not? If you want to post hate comments, you can choose other update threads of NameWee, don’t post it at the obituary!
