Craving for some good, authentic Thai food with affordable price? Well, here’s one place I think you should check out.
Streat Thai Restaurant. Located at Jaya One, Petaling Jaya, this Thai cuisine restaurant offers plenty of delicious Thai delicacies on their menu.
This restaurant is unique in the sense that the concept is like a huge food street under one roof. One chef specialized in each stall’s theme is responsible to produce gourmet for your dining pleasure.
Huge dining area. Can accommodate up to 160 pax at one time. So this restaurant is definitely great for large gatherings or events.
Here’s some of the delicious food that my family and I tried during our most recent visit.
Tomyam Creamy Soup with Seafood (RM12.40-S, RM23.90-M, RM37.90-L). This tomyam soup is creamy and rich with coconut milk flavour. It is also quite spicy. Great to go with a plate of plain white rice.
Tomyam Creamy Porridge with Seafood (RM18.90). One of the bestseller over here at Streat Thai. Loaded with fresh seafood, this dish is quite satisfying. The portion is huge too. This pot can be shared up to 3 person who are small eaters.
Somtam/Papaya Salad and Anchovy Sauce (RM7.90). A not to be missed dish in Streat Thai. Works well as an appetizer or to go with rice as side dish.
Deep Fried Fish with Fish Sauce (RM42.90-Red Tilapia, RM56.90 Seabass, RM69.90-Snapper). We had deep fried tilapia fish. The fish was fresh and sweet.
Braised Chicken Noodles (RM10.90). A comforting meal. Highly recommended for those who wants a quick meal.
Pineapple Fried Rice (RM9.90). One of my favourite that night. The rice was not only fragrant but flavourful too. This plate of pineapple fried rice have the wok aroma, making it uniquely tantalizing.
Pandan Chicken (RM16.90). Delicious and flavourful. Highly recommended as appetizer as it is already good on it’s own.
Streat Thai Fried Chicken Wings (RM17.90). All time favourite dish among those who frequents Streat Thai. The chicken wings are crispy on the outside and bursting with flavours on the inside. Basically, I approve this dish and highly recommends it to those who dine in Streat Thai.
Thai Milk Tea (RM5.90). I had this Thai Milk Tea to wash my meal with. Love it. The tea was thick and creamy, just the way I like it.
I highly recommends this restaurant. Food are good and price are even better. Service is not bad too. Things are served at a timely manner so I can assure you that your tummy won’t growl for long should you patronize this restaurant
